Dedicated Time for All Systems Wed., March 20

There will be a suspend/resume for all Pleiades, Electra, Aitken, and Cabeus cluster service nodes, on Wednesday, March 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. PT to facilitate system upgrades and file system maintenance. The following services will be affected:

  • Compute and service nodes will not be available during this period, jobs cannot be submitted, and there will be no access to the Lustre file systems.
  • Jobs on Pleiades, Electra, Aitken, and Cabeus compute nodes will be suspended at the beginning of the period and will be resumed at the conclusion of the period.

There should be no other impact to these jobs. Jobs will be paused on these nodes prior to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20. The SFE/SUPs, Pleiades front ends (PFEs) and Lou front ends (LFEs) will be unavailable during this period.
