Science Data Pipeline Services
HECC offers a range of services to help researchers and science teams to design, develop, deploy, and operate complex science data pipelines for processing massive amounts of raw data obtained from NASA’s ground- and space-borne observatories.
We can also assist science pipeline teams to establish and maintain compliance with NASA Procedural Requirements for software development, maintenance, operations, acquisition, retirement, management, and systems engineering throughout the entire software lifecycle.
Basic Services
The following science data pipeline services are available at no extra charge to you.
- Designing prototype and production pipelines, including:
- Training users how to set up and run a sample pipeline using our pipeline management system, called Ziggy.
- Initial set up and integration of the science pipeline with Ziggy.
- Integration of the science algorithm codebase with the Ziggy codebase.
- Implementing a robust multi-center data delivery and data receipt workflow.
- Configuring automated processing that runs upon delivery of data.
- Training members of your team to set up and run the pipeline.
- Performance analysis and tuning.
- Templates and consulting services to help teams establish and maintain compliance with NASA Procedural Requirements (NPR), specifically:

Your science pipeline may also benefit from HECC’s Data Science Services for helping other users moving into advanced data science.

Additional Services
Our science data pipeline experts can also work closely with you to provide more extensive support, such as implementing prototype and production pipelines, customizing the science pipeline management framework to suit your particular needs, and performing pipeline operations. Such services may require external funding based on the level of effort.
