HECC has designed a series of new, web-based training sessions (webinars) to help users get the most benefit from their computational time on NAS systems.
The first session will be especially relevant for new users, and may serve as a refresher if you're already somewhat familiar with the NAS environment. New sessions will be held about once a month.
New User Orientation - Wednesday November 9, 2011 11 a.m. Pacific Time
This webinar is intended to get new users started on NAS resources. It introduces the NAS systems, logging in, transferring files to/from NAS, setting up the module environment, compiling, and running jobs with PBS. The emphasis is on using the Search capability in the Knowledge Base and handling common issues faced by new users.
