User Training Session on December 7th

02 Dec, 2011

Our series of web-based user training sessions continues with "Where Should I Run My Job?" on Wednesday December 7, 2011 at 11am PT.

This webinar covers various aspects of where to run jobs on Pleiades. The available hardware resources (in particular, the three processor types used on Pleiades) are described, as well as guidelines for running on the front-end and bridge nodes. The major emphasis is on general usage and best practices for PBS and queues for batch jobs. Although intended for new users, returning users may also find this webinar useful.
