NAS Transition to 8 Character RSA SecurID Token PIN

13 Oct, 2011

WHAT: RSA SecurID Token PINs changing to 8 alphanumeric characters

WHEN: 5:00 a.m. PDT, Tuesday November 1st

NAS will be changing RSA SecurID token PINs to 8 alphanumeric characters. If you do not already have an 8-character PIN that complies with the new requirement, your token will be set to "new PIN mode" and you will be required to set up an 8-character PIN, the first time you log in after the change. Your new PIN must be exactly 8 characters in length, using a combination of numbers and letters, at least one letter and one number; letters are not case-sensitive. No special characters are allowed (I .e. !, $ @).

Remember, if you already have an 8-character PIN that complies with the new requirement, this will not affect you.
