Lou Data Analysis Nodes and Front-Ends lfe1 and lfe2 Are Available

14 Jun, 2018

The Lou data analysis nodes (ldans) and front-ends lfe1 and lfe2 are now available. The software patch has been applied to fix the SLES 12 filesystem issues. All SLES 12 ldans are available through PBS.

lfe1 and lfe2 running SLES 12 are also available. Currently, the lfe load balancer will direct users to lfe3 or lfe4, which still run SLES 11; these will be upgraded to SLES 12 during the next dedicated time.

If you would like to log into lfe1 or lfe2, you need to use SSH to directly connect with those systems, instead of just indicating "lfe."

Previous notification:
Emergency Dedicated time for Lou on June 15 - The Lou filesystem will not be available on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Pacific Time. During that time, we will install a software patch to address SLES 12 filesystem issues. You should not notice any impacts after the dedicated time.
