Electra Expanded with Additional Skylake Nodes15 Aug, 2018
Electra has been expanded with the addition of 576 Intel Xeon Gold 6148 "Skylake" nodes, bringing the total number of Skylake nodes to 1,728. This expansion brings Electra's theoretical peak performance to 6.55 petaflops—approaching that of Pleiades. Another expansion is expected to be completed before the end of the year.
