Status Update: Aitken and Lou Outages on April 607 Apr, 2020
Please be aware that on Monday, April 6, 2020, between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Pacific Time, the Aitken supercomputer and the Lou CXFS filesystems were affected by technical issues. Both systems were returned to operation after this brief outage. The Aitken issue caused the loss of all running jobs. If your job was affected please send an email to request increased priority for jobs affected. The Lou CXFS filesystems were briefly unmounted from the Lou front ends (lfe5-8) and the Lou data analysis nodes (ldan11-ldan14) due to network problems. Ldan12 and ldan13 were rebooted. Please verify all data that was transferred to/from Lou during this timeframe. We apologize for any inconvenience.
