Pleiades, Electra, and Aitken will be unavailable on Wednesday, July 22, from 5:00 a.m. – 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time). During this time, facility upgrades will be performed, along with patching of Pleiades/Electra/Aitken infrastructure and front ends. The following services will be affected:

• During the suspend/resume period, Pleiades, Electra, Aitken, Endeavour, and Merope will not be available, jobs cannot be submitted, and there will be no access to the Lustre or NFS filesystems.
• Jobs on Pleiades, Electra, and Aitken will be suspended at the beginning of the period and will be resumed at the conclusion of the period. There should be no other impact to these jobs.
• Pleiades front ends (PFEs) will be unavailable during this period.
• Lou front ends (LFEs) will be available during this period but you will not have access to Lustre or NFS filesystems.
