Reminder: TOSS is Now the Default Operating System on Most NAS Systems

20 Dec, 2021

On Monday, December 20, at 8:00 a.m. (Pacific Time), the default operating system for most NAS systems changed from SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) to the Red Hat Enterprise Linux-based Tri-Lab Operating System Stack (TOSS 3).

For important changes that may affect your workflow, please see the following article in the HECC Knowledge Base:

Migration to the TOSS Operating System

Please note that although you can still use SLES alternative operating environments (:aoe=sles12 or :aoe=sles15) to run your jobs, these images will not be available much longer. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to migrate off SLES operating systems.
