HEC Request Management System (RMS) Info Session June 28

21 Jun, 2021

The High-End Computing (HEC) Program's Request Management System (RMS) is a web-based management tool for requesting and managing computing allocations at the NASA Advanced Supercomputing (NAS) facility and NASA Center for Climate Simulation (NCCS). In Fall 2019, the NASA Science Mission Directorate transitioned from eBooks to RMS, and the remaining mission directorates were transitioned in February 2021. All users with active accounts and an FY21 request/allocation were migrated to the new system.

On Monday, June 28, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. (Pacific Time) we will host an RMS information session for principal investigators (PIs) with new and migrated projects. In this session, we will cover:

  • An overview of the system
  • What’s new in RMS
  • Allocation cycle (important dates and terminology)
  • Live demo
  • Tips and Tricks
  • Q & A

If you are new to RMS, or would like more information on the allocation process, we hope you will join us! Please see today's related email from NAS Operations to learn how to join the session.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Control Room at (800) 331‑8737, (650) 604‑4444, or support@nas.nasa.gov.
