Removal of Older Versions of Apache Subversion

The NAS Subversion server is being updated to improve security. This change causes older versions of the Subversion software to fail to connect to the NAS Subversion server. Therefore, the OS-supplied version (/usr/bin/svn) and the older versions provided in modules (v1.4.4, v1.5.2, and v1.6.11) were removed from NAS systems on November 28, 2016.

Subversion is available via the pkgrc module. To show the pkgsrc versions, run:

module avail pkgsrc

To load a specific version of pkgsrc, run:

module load pkgsrc/2016Q2
