Bridge Nodes Were Removed on Sept. 8

08 Sep, 2016

The bridge nodes (bridge[1-4]) were retired September 8, 2016 at noon (Pacific Time) to improve stability of the InfiniBand fabric.

With the bridge nodes no longer available, you will need to use the PFE hosts to access Pleiades and Endeavour. The PFE nodes have the same functionality as the bridge nodes, but they have newer processors and better interoperability with the InfiniBand fabric.

If you require more memory for your pre- and post-processing tasks than the PFEs allow, you can submit an interactive PBS session to the Lou data analysis nodes (LDANs). For more information about using the LDANs, see the Lou Data Analysis Nodes article in the HECC Knowledge Base.
