NASA Next-Gen GPU Onboarding Bootcamp with NVIDIA: April 23

14 Mar, 2025

A NAS user training, “NASA Next-Gen GPU Onboarding Bootcamp,” will take place on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

This one-day training will provide a Grace Hopper-focused system introduction & profiling event with NVIDIA. It’s open to all current NAS users with accounts on our systems, and all internal NAS staff.

Attendees will learn to: profile applications using a variety of tools, including NVIDIA Nsight Systems, NVIDIA Nsight Compute, and Tensorboard; analyze and identify optimization opportunities; and improve performance of applications to scale efficiently across systems of any quantity or size of CPUs and GPUs.

The NAS Application Performance and Productivity (APP) and Data Science teams will provide a Grace Hopper system introduction and overview, and NVIDIA will provide a few lectures and a hands-on lab tutorial focusing on profiling these systems.

This event is open to current NAS users only. Please apply using your NASA email address. NAS internal team members are welcome to apply as well, to help answer questions or to learn about the system (or both!)

Registration is required. Further details will be provided after registration.

The application deadline is April 6, 2025. To apply, go to: NASA Next Gen GPU Onboarding Bootcamp.
