More than 25% of you participated in a user survey in 2011. This report provides a summary of the survey results, a comparison with the 2009 survey, and information on related activities undertaken over the last year to improve performance in several key areas: mass storage and networking, website and documentation, training, and data analysis and visualization.

• Overall Satisfaction rated at Very Good and improved in all categories
• Computing Systems received the highest score
• Website scored highest improvement

Actions

Based on your feedback, we have taken numerous steps to improve our offerings, such as:

• Doubled the size of the /nobackup filesystem and increased Lustre file system quotas
• Increased the size of the disk cache and extended higher speed InfiniBand fabric to the archive systems
• Added user training offerings, including courses for helping new users get started
