Dedicated Time on PFE Systems for Patching, September 17-18

12 Sep, 2019

The Pleiades front-end systems (PFEs) will be placed in dedicated time for software updates, according to the following schedule:

  • Tues. September 17, 8:00-10:00 a.m. (PT): pfe20, pfe21, pfe22, and pfe23
  • Wed. September 18, 8:00-10:00 a.m. (PT): pfe24, pfe25, pfe26, and pfe27

Systems will be unavailable during the dedicated time. Users should not notice any impacts after the changes.

Please note that when some systems are in dedicated time, others will be available for use. You can use the "pfe" hostname to connect to an available PFE without specifying a particular one. See Using the Pleiades Front-End Load Balancer for more information about hostnames.

You should not notice any changes as a result of the updates.
