New User Website Now Open
A new High-End Computing Capability (HECC) website designed to help science and engineering users quickly get all the information needed to efficiently run their computational jobs at the NAS facility is available at: http://www.nas.nasa.gov/hecc/
This website is now the main hub for users to get up-to-date news, systems information, and documentation, and supersedes the user information on the current NAS website.
A few of the useful features available on the new HECC site include:
- User Knowledge Base: This searchable database of articles for all user documentation makes it easy to quickly locate topics of interest; includes Frequently Asked Questions, usage policies and guidelines, downloadable files, and more.
- System Status: Live information to quickly get detailed picture of system usage and availability, network status, and more.
- New User Orientation: A short introduction to the NAS supercomputing environment, containing all the basics needed to start using the systems and store data, with links into important articles in the Knowledge Base.
Future plans for the HECC website include such tools as an online ticket submission system, an online account request form, and customized user account queries.
