Abstract

This talk will describe work that Tecplot, Inc. has underway to improve the usability and efficiency of Tecplot 360, particularly for transient datasets. Tecplot will introduce three new concepts that will be used in future versions of Tecplot 360: Data Journal, Deferred Data Options, and Parts. These three concepts work in concert to allow Tecplot 360 to easily and efficiently perform the same post-processing steps across time and across datasets of varying input conditions (think optimizations or aero database results). Tecplot, Inc. is currently seeking Alpha testers to provide feedback on the early stages of this work.
