Abstract

In this talk, workflows will be shown utilizing the latest improvements and features in ANSYS Fluent to model air breathing engines (for example, ramjets, scramjets, RDEs), re-entry chemistry, and liquid/solid rocket motors. The speaker will be walking through specific, targeted examples on how ANSYS Fluent is solving some of the most complex systems problems.

Biography

Bruce Crawford, Senior Application Engineer, MSME/BSAE, has been with ANSYS for last ten years. He has twenty-seven years of CFD experience working aero-thermal problems/simulations in high-speed flows and combustion, which include IC engines, combustors, turbo-machinery, scramjets, and HE and TBX explosives, for the energy, automotive, aerospace, and defense industries and agencies.
