All NAS computing systems and the Lou mass storage system will be unavailable on Wednesday, March 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time) to facilitate system patching.
The following services will be affected:
- Aitken, Pleiades, Electra, and Endeavour will not be available during this period, jobs cannot be submitted, and there will be no access to the Lustre or NFS filesystems.
- All running jobs will be suspended at the beginning of the period and will be resumed at the conclusion of the period. Interactive PBS jobs (jobs created with "qsub -I") submitted from the front ends will be killed when the front ends are rebooted for their patching.
- Pleiades front ends (PFEs), Lou front ends (LFEs), and the NAS Data Portal will be unavailable during this period.
