Suspend/Resume of All Computing and Mass Storage Systems on October 4

All NAS computing systems and the Lou mass storage system will be unavailable on Tuesday, October 4, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time) to facilitate system patching. The following services will be affected:

Aitken, Pleiades, Electra, and Endeavour will not be available during this period. Jobs cannot be submitted, and there will be no access to the Lustre, NFS, or BeeGFS filesystems.
Pleiades front ends (PFEs) and Lou front ends (LFEs) will be unavailable during this period.
All jobs running when the dedicated time begins will be suspended for the duration and resumed when patching is complete. Interactive PBS jobs (jobs created with "qsub -I") submitted from the front ends will be killed when the front ends are rebooted for their patching.
The NAS Data Portal will be unavailable during this period.
