Dedicated time for all systems, networks, and filesystems in the HECC enclave has been completed. All HECC systems are now available.

Updated Notification, November 13:

All users: Please note the following actions you may need to take before the NAS facility-wide maintenance begins on November 15 at 7:00 a.m. Pacific Time.

• If you have data that needs to be transferred to the Lou filesystem, give yourself enough time to ensure transfers are complete and on tape beforehand, as the process may take some time.
• The front-end systems pfe26 and pfe27 will be upgraded to SLES12SP4. Make sure that applications like Tecplot, Visit, and other applications are working fine on pfe20-pfe25, which have already been upgraded. If anything is not working as expected, please contact the NAS Control Room by Thursday, November 14.

Dedicated time for NAS facility maintenance is scheduled from Friday, November 15 at 7:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) through Monday, November 18, at 7:00 p.m. PT. During this period, electricity will be turned off and all systems in the HECC enclave will be unavailable, including Pleiades, Electra, Aitken, Merope, Endeavor, Lou and all filesystems, and network connections.

Watch for reminders as the scheduled dedicated time gets closer.
