HECC engineers have now completed the latest upgrade to Pleiades, which incorporates Intel's new Haswell processors. The expansion added 15 Haswell racks, increasing the system's computational capability by approximately 25%. Theoretical peak performance has increased from 3.59 to 4.5 petaflops.
