Pyramid:
Parallel Unstructured Adaptive Mesh Refinement
Pyramid
is a software library for performing parallel adaptive
mesh refinement on unstructured meshes. It uses triangular
or tetrahedral elements for the adaptive mesh. A suite
of well-designed and efficiently implemented modules
that perform operations in a typical parallel AMR
process are included.
The
library is implemented in Fortran 90 with MPI and
it supports mesh quality control, adaptive refinement,
load balancing, mesh migration, and visualization
all in parallel.
