Ana Grady-Hiser
Assistant Division Chief of Operations
As Assistant Chief of Operations, Ana Grady-Hiser carries out the daily operational and administrative aspects of the NAS Division. Her responsibilities range from strategic planning and budget preparation to personnel matters and ensuring an excellent safety record at the NAS Facility. She is frequently the first line of response to directives from NASA headquarters.
During her 20-plus years at Ames Research Center Ms. Grady-Hiser's management experience has broadened to encompass many areas, including computer operations and support, technical publications, and telecommunications. She has designed and developed network managers, and implemented software to track and troubleshoot programming problems. Prior to joining the NASA family, she developed and tested software for computer operators.
Grady-Hiser holds a bachelor of science degree in information systems from San Diego State University.
