Information Power Grid (IPG) Launch Pad

artist's sketch of IPG Launch Pad interface

The IPG Launch Pad is a web-based user portal to NASA's Information Power Grid. The Launch Pad provides IPG users with the ability to:

  • view the status of grid resources
  • prepare, launch, and track jobs
  • manipulate files at remote locations
  • customize the environment to create a personalized view of the portal

The Launch Pad uses the Grid Portal Development Kit (GPDK) developed by Jason Novotny, National Center for Supercomputing Applications. GPDK is based on Java servlets and Java server pages.

GPDK uses MyProxy, developed by Novotny and Von Welch, to provide Security for the IPG Launch Pad.
