Current Research Penamecillen moleculeResearch is a vital part of the ongoing development and maintenance of a superior computing capability for NASA and its customers. Here at NAS, we have identified seven focus areas of research that are key to developing new, integrated high performance computing environments such as the NASA Information Power Grid: applications, problem-solving environments, networks, high-performance computing, mass storage, grid common services, and other research areas (such as nanotechnology and device modeling).

In the sections listed below you will find descriptions of dozens of ongoing research tasks, along with key contacts, links to task home pages (as available), and information on task funders and collaborators.
