Mass Storage

MS66
Photo of StorageTek, NAS mass storage silosMS66 is a protocol for data interchange between large-scale storage systems. It will allow easy migration between generations of storage systems at any data storage facility. NAS researchers and collaborators at Goddard Space Flight Center are working with a standards committee at the Institute for Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IEEE) to finish a reference implementation of MS66 by June 2000.
