Nagi N. MansourPhoto of Nagi Mansour

Nagi Nicolas Mansour serves a dual role as lead for the NAS Physics Simulation and Modeling Office and Deputy Director for the Ames-Stanford Center for Turbulence Research (CTR). Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Office, he guides, directs, and advocates for the scientific efforts of the Office. He also serves as the Contracting Officer's Technical Represenative (COTR) for the CTR grant and to other university grants.

Dr. Mansour is world-renowned for his work on turbulence modeling and simulation of drops and bubbles. He has received the H. Julian Allen Award (Outstanding Scientific or Technical Paper) for his work on the use of direct numerical simulations for turbulence modeling. He is a fellow of the American Physical Society.
