Photo of Brian Biegel, NAS Research Branch Chief

Bryan Biegel

As chief of the NAS Research Branch, Bryan Biegel ensures that the division's research and development work supports NASA missions in aerospace applications, with emphasis on the Information Power Grid (IPG).

Before joining the division management team in November 2000, Biegel worked as a contractor at the NAS Facility, pursuing research in numerical simulation of electronics, space electronics, and device modeling in the IPG environment.

Biegel has 15 years experience in software development for large-scale electronic device simulations, and has published and presented over 25 technical papers and talks. He received a bachelor's and a master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Oklahoma, and holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Stanford University.
