Collaborators')

V22') Almost by definition, the creation of a distributed heterogeneous computing capability must involve collaboration with outside organizations. In recognition of this, NAS has established extensive cooperative research efforts with other NASA centers, the aerospace industry, academia, computer hardware and software vendors and other government organizations.

For instance, NASA’s Information Power Grid plans complement the NSF Alliance and NPACI programs by focusing on systems integration and large-scale industrial applications, in contrast to their emphasis on basic research and grid infrastructure.

If you're associated with a scientific or high-tech organization and want to collaborate with the NAS Division on areas of mutual interest, contact our division office.
